Credit trust program

We buy the car with our own funds. You pay after it's loaded on the vessel.

For qualified dealer partners, Carvector fronts the purchase at auction — no prepayment needed to secure the lot. You settle the invoice once the car is loaded and the Bill of Lading is issued, so you're never paying for a car you haven't confirmed is on its way.

How wholesale sourcing works
Your team monitoring live auctions / office in Japan
← swipe through all 7 steps →
01
Contact us and discuss your requirements
Tell us your target models, budget range, destination port, and volume. Your manager will calculate C&F costs and confirm availability.
02
Register and pay your deposit
Create a free account on carvector.com. Your deposit is held on your account balance in Japan — it is deducted from your first purchase invoice.
03
Receive curated lot selections
Your manager monitors auctions daily and sends you suitable lots with translated auction sheets, HD photos, and C&F price estimates.
04
We bid and buy with our own funds
You set your maximum bid. We bid at auction and pay the auction house directly with company funds — your capital stays free until later.
05
Export prep, inspection & vessel loading
Deregistration, export documents, inland transport and loading — all at our expense. Once the car is on board and the Bill of Lading is issued, we send your final invoice.
06
You pay — only now, not before
Payment is due once the car is confirmed loaded on the vessel, not when we bought it. We release the documents as soon as it clears.
07
Car arrives at your port — you handle customs
We deliver to your destination port (C&F). Local import duties and customs clearance are handled by you or your customs agent.

FAQ
Common questions from dealers
How many cars do I need to buy to get dealer rates? ▾
Dealer commission starts from 3 cars per year. There is no contract, minimum commitment, or setup fee. Your rate adjusts automatically as your volume grows.
Can I buy left-hand drive cars? ▾
Yes. Japan has a significant supply of LHD European premium cars (Porsche, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Ferrari, Bentley and others) originally imported to Japan as new vehicles. If LHD is permitted in your country, these are available through our auctions.
Do you work with all countries? ▾
We work with dealers in Europe, UK, Ireland, Cyprus, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and other regions. Contact us to confirm availability and freight rates for your specific port.
What documents do I receive with the car? ▾
Standard set: Commercial Invoice, Bill of Lading, Japanese Export Certificate. On request: COC, categorised cost invoices, defect invoices, letters on company letterhead. We adapt documentation to your country's import requirements.
Is deferred payment available? ▾
Yes, for established partners with a track record — including our pay-after-shipment credit program (see above). Terms depend on volume, car price range, and payment history. Discuss with your manager after your first few purchases.
How long does delivery take? ▾
Typically 6–10 weeks from auction date to destination port, depending on the shipping route. Europe and Cyprus: approximately 2 months. UK, Ireland: 2.5–3 months. Australia, New Zealand: 5–7 weeks by sea from Japan.
